Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

Qui closed her eyes and leaned backward on the bench, gently holding Tam against her chest. For Tam, some days were worse than others, and today was one of the bad days.

Dragon House, John Shors pg. 53

Yeah...bad days do happen. At least they've got each other? There's a mystery there! Great teaser.

I hate bad days but it at lease sounds like there is a friend there to help share it in your teaser.

I was on your blog and it was the name Tam on your teaser that caught my eye - before I even read the book title I knew it was Dragon House. AWESOME read and one of my favs so far this year!
