What’s the most informative book you’ve read recently?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Well I've read a lot of books that were fiction that had lots of great information in them. Some on polygamy, some on the Salem Witch Trials. I am now reading an actual Non Fiction book about rare books and stealing. I've only just started it and I can tell by the time I am done, I will have learned quite a bit.

I've just posted a review of an informative historical novel, The Fruit of Her Hands, in which the author discusses her ancestors and religion and persecution in 13th C Europe. Very informative as well as a good story, fiction, about the wife of the Rabbi, the author's ancestor.

The idea of rare books and stealing sounds intriguing. Will be interested to read your review when you get there. Hopefully it didn't teach you how to steal rare books lol?

LoL no but it does make me want to go to Powells in Portland to look in the rare book room.
