My Thoughts:
Wow! I have to say I loved this book! I wasn't sure how I would react to it in the beginning. I don't read a lot of historical fiction, but I had heard such amazing things about this book that I had to give it a shot. I have to say, I was not disappointed at all.
I loved all the history burrowed within the book and the visual city Michelle brought to life was outstanding. I could clearly imagine all the buildings and the city she created. The characters were so well done that I felt their sorrows, joys, triumphs, fears etc. I found myself drawn into the story and I was sad to see it end.
All in all I have to say Bravo Michelle for an amazing book! I will have to read Michelle's other books now.

Glad you liked it so much, I did too :)
I'm glad you liked it! I have it on my wish list and am very excited to read it.
Michelle is one of my favorite writers, and she somehow keeps improving on perfection. ;) I highly recommend all of her books, and I hope you get a chance to read the others soon.
