Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

The blast rocks the town and they all come out to see. All over Chester's Mill, they come out to see.

Under the Dome - Stephen King pg 739

I know Stephen King is a great writer, but I'm too chicken to read his books. Nice tease! Here's my teaser

I want to read this more now that I saw him on The Hour and learned more about the book. Though I'd read it anyways being King.

I've always been a little afraid to try Stephen King. Everyone has had these experiences with his writing, but I'm a huge wimp... Great teaser, though! I'm curious about the blast and what it means.

Thanks for coming by my blog earlier!

Never really read any Stephen King - just part of "The Shining" years ago. Such awful things happen in his books. Good teaser, though!

I need to read a Stepehn King novel. It's been too long.
