Weekend Roundup

This weekend has been a relaxing weekend at home. I tweaked my knee on Tuesday and haven't been able to go to the gym or my Sunday walk this past week. I'm starting to feel a tad stir crazy sitting at home but what can you do?

I did get to see the Ducks walk all over USC yesterday and that was a lot of fun. Other than that, I spent yesterday reading Cleopatra's Daughter. It was amazing. My review is here.

The picture above is another one from Ape Caves in Washington. This is the first rock pile in the upper caves section. That is my son climbing up towards the roof where we had a decent size hole to climb through. There were only a few spots where it was a cozy squeeze to get over a rock pile in the upper caves. The picture kind of gives you the idea of what kind of climbing is involved going through the upper caves. The picture sucks I had to lighten it up so you could see the details a bit. Anyway over the next few weeks I'll post more from our caving experience on my Weekend Roundup posts. It really makes me want to go back and hike the caves all over again. I'm thinking next spring would be a great time maybe early summer.

So this month ended up being a great reading month for me. I usually read between 6-8 books a month, averaging 7. This past month I read 12! I know it's amazing for me to read that many. I had to go back and recount to make sure I counted right the first time. Yay to me for keeping lists of what and when I read something.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and here's some good vibes for a good week ahead! Happy reading folks!
