Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

"Did you get to see him, before he died? I know you were one of the last to leave Seattle-and I know you came here. Did you see him, one last time?"

Boneshaker - Cherie Priest pg. 25

Since I haven't finished the book I used from my last teaser, I pulled a teaser from an upcoming read for me that I am excited to get to.

I hope she got to see him one last time. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.

Sounds ominous. Or sad.
