The Book Thief was great, but have you read I Am The Messenger?
Thirteen Reasons Why was on my list as well. I am also hoping to get to The Thirteenth Tale sometime this year.
I keep seeing The Book Thief everywhere. I think it's time I picked it up. Here's mine.
I can't believe I forgot A Time to Kill. I could not get that book out of my head. Was not a fan of The Historian. From talking with friends, I think it is a love or hate kind of book.
I had The Book Thief and The Handmaid's Tale on my list as well.
