Mailbox Monday & What Are You Reading

Mailbox Monday was originally hosted by Marcia at the Printed page but now it is a traveling meme. This month it is being hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books.

A very slow mailbox week which is very okay with me. I was too busy to get much done last week

It's Monday. What are you reading this week? Hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books. This is a meme to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read, and the books to be finished this week.

Books I finished in the last week:

Nada it was a very slow reading week for me

Books I am reading this week:

Silver Tongued Devil - Jaye Wells
Harbor - John Ajvide Lindqvist (this one is pretty good but has been put on hold for a bit)
Romeo & Juliet - William Shakespeare (this book is taking me months to read but I expected it would)

Books to Finish This week:
Silver Tongued Devil - Jaye Wells

Enjoy whatever you read. Better to be slow and enjoy the nuances of Shakespeare rather than rushing through it.

I've had some slow weeks too, especially before Christmas.

Here is mine

Enjoy your great reads this week :)

I totally understand the Shakespeare taking a long time to read - I had to reward myself when I battled George Eliot's Middlemarch. Every 10% I'd let myself read a new book!

I haven't read Shakespeare since I was in high school but if I tried today, I wouldn't plan on finishing it soon either.

Slow weeks are good because they allow you to play a little catch up.

Here what came in my mailbox

It's ok to take months for a book if you are enjoying it. Shakespeare needs to be savored. Have a good week and happy reading!

Slow weeks are sometimes welcome; it gives you a chance to concentrate on other important things. I signed up for a Classics reading challenge and the play I chose was Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" - I expect it will take a wile to get through! :)

I didn't receive anything, but that's been by design lately. I've been trying to catch up on reading from my shelves.

I haven't read Shakespeare in years, I wonder what I would think of his work now. Hope you have a great week.

When you're done with Romeo & Juliet you should watch Shakespeare in Love.

With the three day weekend, I had a chance to finish a bunch of books I've been working on the last month. Please come see what I'm reading.
