Mailbox Monday & What Are You Reading

This is a weekly meme hosted by Avis over at She Reads and Reads. Join the fun and post what you got in your mailbox last week!

Just one this week:

1) The Secret Society of the Pink Crystal Ball - Risa Green (publisher)

It's Monday What are you reading this week? Hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World of Books. This is a meme to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read, and the books to be finished this week.

Books I finished last week:

Venom - Jennifer Estep
Wicked Appetite - Janet Evanovich
Boneshaker - Cherie Priest (audiobook)

Books I am reading this week:

Red Headed Step Child - Jaye Wells
These Things Hidden - Heather Gudenkauf

Books to finish this week:

These Things Hidden - Heather Gudenkauf
Maybe Red Headed Step Child - Jaye Wells

I did finish one other thing this week not book related, I wanted to share:

I crochet a little bit. I finished this blanket for my son today and it only took me 4 years lol. Actually I got bored a couple of years ago and stopped crocheting and thanks to Alea over at Pop Culture's Junkie, I got the bug again. Now that I'm done with this, I have decided to try a new to me pattern. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck.

Love the blanket! Well done. I crocheted an afghan years ago. Now I crochet hangers when I can find the wooden ones. They're considered vintage, LOL! I don't know what that makes me. ;)

I've seen The Secret Society around and I'm curious about it. Looking forward to your review! Enjoy!!

The Secret Society of the Pink Crystal Ball looks like so much fun. Your blanket is gorgeous - you'll have something to cuddle under when you read this winter.

That blanket is so great! Congrats on completing it :) How did you like Boneshaker? I've picked it up a few times, but never actually started it. I love steampunk though and want to read it if it's worth it.

Love the crochet! The only thing I've ever successfully made was a pot holder... If only I could hold a book and quilt at the same time...

Here's my Monday.

Lovely blanket! Reading Alea's comments on Twitter have made me speed up on my needlepoint, so she's influencing all sorts of yarn-related activities!
