Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

Kelley Adelman hadn't written this many words since the history final in senior year. Her fingers were cramping up. The buck-a-dozen ballpoint pen left globs of ink in its wake and the police notebook paper was so thin she could read the impression of her words three sheets below.

Being left handed sucks when writing with pens like that.. I end up smearing the ink and the side of my hand gets all inky and stampy. Great teaser!

My teaser is from Shades Of Gray by LM Pruitt

My hand is tired just thinking about this. Plus, the whole police thing makes me wonder what in the world is happening. It's probably bad.
