Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

Simon Lewis couldn't blame her; she'd probably been hoping for a better tip than the one she was going to get on a single cup of coffee. But it wasn't his fault vampires didn't eat.

City of Fallen Angels - Cassandra Clare pg. 1

Can not wait to read this book! I've enjoyed all the other Cassandra Clare books.

Two teasers from me this week - one from a very short story, and the other from a very long one! And one of them is an Aussie author in honour of Aussie Author month!

I keep seeing Cassandra Clare pop up everywhere, I really need to make more of an effort to read her books.

I've heard about this author before, but never read her. It sounds like a good one.

Great teaser. I got CoFA yesterday but I am still trying to decide whether to read it or not. I hate cliff-hangers so I think I may wait until a couple of years until the other books come out.

Eeeee. I bought this one on release day, and I'm trying to use it as the candy at the end of the day. I have to get through some review books first before I can dig into it. But I'm really excited. :) Thanks for the great teaser!!!!!
