Synopsis

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My Thoughts:

I had been reading just how good this book was but was cautious, I didn't want to be let down. Needless to say that was not the case. I loved this book! The story was refreshing.

I loved the characters and the hierarchy of their lives. There is so much story surrounding the characters and I can't wait to learn more of it. Calla and Ren are both strong Alphas and their packs remind me of mischievous children. Full of spark, and life. I will say Shay is one of my favorites as is Calla's brother.

I look forward to reading the next in the series. I should note, if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, you might want to wait til book 2 is almost out to read this one. But if you don't care about that, go read it, you'll love it.
