Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and it asks us to...

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser this week:

Even though the frequency of her lessons waned, Caroline never slacked in her visits to Grandmother. She always told her that she was like her favorite Oak tree, so stable and strong, she felt like she could tell her anything.

So sweet! I would love to read this one. It's nice for Mother's Day too since Grandmas are admired on that day too.

Great teaser. I have to say my father is this for me. This is one of the kindest things one could say of their grandmother.

If you would like to stop by I have my teaser up as well. :)
