If I could own any rare book, I would want to own a copy of one of Jane Austen's books from the time it was originally published, preferably with comments and opinions written in it by it's previous owner from that era. Not only do I love her books, but I'd really love to know how they were received by people back then.

If I could own any rare books, and I do have one, not this one though, it would be Agatha Christie's book, "And then there were none". Love that lady. I never tire of reading her work. The rare book I have is a Kipling, it's old, not sure if it's worth anything I just love that it's old.
